Subject of the course content:

Structure of low voltage and high voltage switching and control systems. Operating principles and classification of switching devices. AD signal conversion. Transmission and processing of measuring signals. Features of measuring devices in switchgear systems. Digital devices for protection, supervision and conditions displaying in control processes. Executive elements in digital switchgear devices. Steady state and dynamic characteristics of devices for digital switchgear techniques. Integration of controling-switchgear systems. Electromechanical systems in digital switchgear techniques. Application of inteligent control in digital switchgear techniques. Communication systems and SCADA programs in digital switchgear techniques. Parameters and elements for protection of electrical machines and transformers caused by overloads, grid impacts and other power systems’ conditions.
